There was a Henry Harper and a Casleton Harper who were brothers. Henry went to Amhurst County, Virginia. Casleton remained in Albemarle County. He had a son Henry who married Martha Gaines and went to Elbert Co. GA and then to Abbleville District S. C.. The Henry who married Judith Landrum was the brother of Casleton not the son. When you analyse all of the Harper data it appears that the harper brothers both patented land in what became Albemalre County [Goochland in the patent but located in present day Albemarle.
