My G-G-Grandfather was Thomas Harper from Frederick County VA. Thomas moved to Marion County Ohio in 1826 and married Mary Jane Mouser on Oct. 11, 1826. In looking for information on Thomas I have come across some other Harpers in the area, can anyone tell anything on these Harpers: MARRIAGES IN MARION CO. OHIO; Joseph HARPER married Mary COOPERSTONE April 14, 1825 in Marion County Ohio. TOMBSTONES IN DELAWARE CO.OHIO: Gussie HARPER- March 6, 1849--old graveyard Josiah HARPER-Sept. 21, 1855--Lake Ridge Cem. Thomas Harper moved on to Kansas in the late 1850's and a few of his children moved on to Illinois before Kansas. I know that Benjamin and Charlotte HARPER from Frederick County VA were Thomas's parents but am having trouble finding the Grandparents. Maybe the clue is back in Ohio with these other HARPERS.
