Patricia -- Do you have any other details on Walter D. Harper? I have a Walter Harper born about 1882 in York, Nebraska. His family moved to Lincoln, IL around 1895. As of 1903 he was still in Lincoln, and not married yet. His parents were Richard Harper (son of William Harper and Rebecca Rider) and Alice Harper (daughter of Baldwin Harper and Permelia Cartmell). Richard and Alice Harper were first cousins; William and Baldwin Harper were brothers. I don't know what became of Walter Harper after 1903. Does this fit?
