I am trying to find information about the parents of my g grandfather John P Harper. I think that the P stands for Patterson since my uncle has that name and was named after his grandfather. John was born in Ohio Aug 1831(I think it was the 4th) He married Hannah M Price 6 Oct 1868 in Wyandot Co., Ohio. According to the census his parents came from Penn. Based upon the names in the family I think that the Patterson is the madien name of his mother or grandmother. Has any one any information that may link to this Harper line?
