    3. Well I also am looking for a William Harper.( I think) My G,Grandfather Jason W. Harper(1821-1889) named his first Son William RC Harper which has always lead me to think that Jason's Father was named William. There has been some research by others that listed Jason's Mom was named Elizabeth....... in 1846 Jason Married Sarah Elizabeth White in Hart County Ga. Our thoughts that Jason was raised up across the line in SC. 3. Judy, Thank you so much for the information, we are related to Benjamin. All the records show him being born in Virginia, all I know is that he was from Frederick Co., VA. So any information that we can get on him is most welcomed. I thank you again for the information, please keep me posted. Thank you Doris ----- Original Message ----- From: <Twoehrle@worldnet.att.net> To: <HARPER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 7:58 AM Subject: Re: [HARPER] Harpers-Muskingum Co. > Doris, > Benjamin Harper had five sons, John, Thomas, George H. ,Levi, & Benjamin. > In 1826 Thomas moved to Marion County Ohio along with Simeon Hiett. 1. Re: [HARPER] Harpers-Muskingum Co.
    2. Doris, Benjamin Harper had five sons, John, Thomas, George H. ,Levi, & Benjamin. In 1826 Thomas moved to Marion County Ohio along with Simeon Hiett. They bought land next to each other on the same day. In 1829 Simeon died and for some reason his widow had to do a quik claim on his land in which all five Harper brothers had to sign. Thomas signed in Marion Co. OH, John signed in Muskingum Co. OH, George, Benjamin & Levi signed in Frederick County Virginia. So you can see that John Harper was in Muskingum Co. for a while before he moved. Still aren't sure exactly what relation Simeon Hiett was. Which Harper are you related to? I am related to Thomas.
