    2. Okay, here is a big request....I am posting this to several lists. Can anyone out there do look-ups for Alabama Census records for ANY of the following years? 1866, 1870 and/or 1880? 3. To: Rosetta Broam/Gayle Harper I am also researching the following Harper family, although there are several discrepancies with my family oral history records. William's middle name was "Antwine" not "B.", for the daughter Elizabeth I have "Maggie", and for the son William M. I have "Mack". However, all the birthdates and places coincide with my records. If this is in fact my family, then the wife Elizabeth's maiden name is Smith, and I have found several records indicating her birthplace to be GA (1870 Ashley Co., AR Census) or SC (1850 Talladega Co., AL Census) and her birthdate from 1817 to 1822. I have no information prior to William "B." or "Antwine", but have considerable info subsequent. 2. I am seeking the ancestors of my 2nd great grandfather, Samuel Harper, who was married 8 Jan 1801, in Rockbridge County, VA to Ann Brawford, daughter of Samuel Brawford. I have, undocumented, information that a Samuel Harper was born ca 1780 to Alexander Thornton Harper of Fairfax, Co. This seems to be a reasonable time period for my Samuel Harper. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated!! Beezie48

I didn't mean to offend anyone by doing it. 3. William Harper and his wife, Libby Clark Harper, were living in Girard Tp., Crawford County, Kansas during the 1880 census. With them were their son, Benjamin, age 7, and Annie Clark, age 13, probably by Libby's first marriage. According to the census, both William and Libby were born in Ohio in 1822. Listed next to them are Enos R. Clark, age 26 and his wife, Elizabeth, age 23. Any other information on these Harper's or the Clarks is appreciated. Thanks.... Kaylynn [email protected]
