My grandfather was John (?King) Harkey, my brother is John King Harkey, Sr., And his son John King Harkey, Jr..I can not find any relations on my father's side either. I don't have a family tree, I have a family shrub.Have you tried checking any types of orphaned/adopted children lists? I am quite amazed at how many Harkey kids were orphaned during the depression and before that time? This would give a reason why there are no documented lineages, and a fire destroyed much of Arkansas State records and census. Your friend Stephanie.
