Checking my family sheets this morning I find Louisa Catherine Harkey married to Gilbert Daniel Allen. My notes say that some of this line was related to Lillian Lawrence who did the original research and I has made it's way through 2 or 3 other people . My question is about one of the Allen children and I'm hoping some of you may have an answer. Harriet married 1898 in San Saba to a DODD McCOMMANT. I want to know if I have his name right or if it could be McCammant or McCammon? I am a McCalman descendant and that name has been spelled a dozen ways. Wondering if this is another way.
