Alma, You are right about Doctor Zelas Alexander Harkey b Iredell, County, NC not being a doctor. Doctor was his given name - why, I don't know! In my info I inherited from my great Aunt Cora Bibens b. 1886, she has Daywalt spelled with a 'y' in it. I also have birth dates and places for Daywalt's and Easter's children. Christina Easter, b. June 23, 1837, Cabarrus County, Nancy Hazeltine, b. July 13, 1840 Cabarrus County, William Lemuel b Jan. 5, 1842, Iredell County, Doctor Zelas Alexander, b Jan 7, 1845, Iredell County, John Franklin, b. March 24, 1850, Iredell County, Mary Jane b May 3, 1854, Iredell county, and Julia Annetta b Feb 26, 1856 in Iredell County. I do not know where they were in 1840 or 1860.
