My records show that John Harkey's parents were John Harkey (son of Martin Harkey) and Elisabeth Doub. I have no information about Elisabeth Doub's parents. I would be interested in learning what information he/she has about John and Sarah and their children.

If Elisabeth was Doub rather than Dove, then she was from Forsyth Co, NC - Doubs married Petrees there; a Petree married Dorothy Bost of Cabarrus Co. And moved to Cabarrus abt 1795. But Doubs in Cabarrus? Hmm.
