I have a friend asking me this and although I must have a dozen Jacob Harkey in my data I do not seem to have this one? HELP! There seems to be so many with that name "Jacob" that I'm beginning to feel like a dog chasing his own tail. I don't know who his parents were or if he was ever married. I know that he homesteaded some land in Logan County. He also sold some land in Logan County to A.R. Lasater in 1904, and on that deed it says he was unmarried. If I'm not mistaken, Jacob was a J.P. and married several couples. I know that I haven't given you much to go on. If you have any info on him, would you care to share it with me?
