in my files I have Daniel Riley Harkey and wife Margaret Ellen Smith with a son Eli Last Harkey born March 19, 1869 and who died March 12, 1953 in Taylor City TX. Eli married Mary Madison Christian March 5 1889 in Richland Springs TX. Mary was born Oct 9, 1868 and died Oct 16, 1931. Their children wer Ruby, Edith , Mary, Dennis, Raleigh, Alonzo, Ollie and Edgar. I do not have Mary Christians parents. I do have lots on the Harkey family.
