Alma, Mary, and all: I found the reference to Rev. David Harkey. Since Daniel David Harkey used the name David in several of his Pike Co., GA records, when I saw this, I felt like it might just be him. This man was listed as marrying Col. Swepson Taylor and Mrs. Ann Beal on 20 Jul 1848 somewhere in GA (I did not get location). From "Marriage and Death Notices from Southern Christian Advocate 1837-1860" by Brent Holcomb.
