WARREN 12 Dec 1844 in Monroe, Ittawamba, MS. She was born Aug 1826 in AL. She is believed to be the daughter of Robert A. Harkey. According to the census records her father and mother were born in NC. Their children were: Joseph Lawrence Warren, b. 1848 in MS, m. 1876 in MS Amanda WHITE (my ancestor) L. Prentis, b. 1850 Anna Cooley b. 1852, m. Joseph Crane Mollie, b. 1854 John (Johnie) b. 1858 There was another marriage in Ittawamba County, MS that I believe was the sister of Margaret Jane. Elenor L. HARKY m. Wm. N. STEGALL on 4 Nov 1841 in Ittawamba County, MS Does any of this match with anyone? I have drawn a complete blank on the Harkey family. It is possible that they moved west after the marriage of their daughters. I have a photo of Margaret Jane that I have scanned.
