Dear Bill and all: Thanks for your note! I cannot really add anything to the discussion. I descend from DANIEL DAVID HARKEY of Dunklin Co., MO and I have all of our family recorded up to him. He married Mary Ann Bankston (daughter of Hiram and Susannah Slayton Bankston of Wilkes Co., GA). He is buried with several other Harkey family members in Dunklin Co. I only learned of his family last year. I had not gotten that far. Most of my family were in Dunklin Co. and since that was where we were from, made that part of my research easy. I am watching all of your posts with great interest, learning lots about our Harkeys. Thanks for including me! P.S.
