To all of you, Does anyone know anything about a book called "The New World Book of Harkeys" by Beverly W. Harkey. Says it contains information about William Harkey, arriving in Baltimore in 1826. Seems that's as far back as it goes. Claims to have names, ports of entry, immigration and ships lists, etc. I imagine only those of us with the Harkey surname would have received this mailing. Also says it has a Harkey family coat of arms granted to an individual Harkey centuries ago. My research didn't find the Harkey name in use in any other country outside the US.
