I don't know how he got on the 1880 mortality schedule because he died in 1850 and from the cause mentioned below. I don't know another Levi who died from that cause. Levi Harkey mentioned below is my GreatGreatGrandfather who was married to Julia Ann Lipe. He was building a horse powered sawmill when his chest was crushed in an accident and was dead 5 days later.Levi was born in NC in Cabarrus Co. in Nov.24, 1801 and died Feb 24, 1850. Julia Ann was pregnant with their 13th child.
