Will of GEORGE HARKEY July 1st. 1821 Know all men by these presents that I, George Harkey of the County of Montgomery and state of North Carolina do make this last will and testament, viz.: I bequeath my soul to God and my body to be buried in a decent Christian like manner. I give and bequeath unto my dear beloved wife , Mary Harkey, all my estate after paying all my just demands until death or so long as she keeps my name after death or marriage. I want my land equally divided among all my boys and the rest of my property to be equally divided among all my girls. I appoint for my lawful executors my dear beloved wife, Mary Harkey, William Petre and Jacob Teter.
