I'll start my own postings with my descendancy chart. My chart is full of unproven third- and fourth-hand information. Most of the early generations came from Joseph Harkey's unpublished article, "Harkeys of North Carolina." Most of the rest came from Lora Harkey Scott's article "Harkeys of Dunklin County, Missouri." I can defend almost none of it and, after a respectable amount of argument, will be happy to be corrected on any or every point.
