Dee Harkey was the man who wrote a book called " Mean As Hell" This is about a book written by his sister----------------------------- Would you put this out on the Harkey website as I think it will be of interest to many. There is a "companion" book out that was a diary but published as a book named "Surviving on the Texas Frontier" by Sarah Harkey Hall, sister of Dee Harkey. It is very interesting as it was written by a self educated woman and trials and tribulations of the frontier. She raised Dee after the death of their parents. It is available through Amazon.com.
