When I was 18 months old, we lived in Stafford. You know where it is now? <G> It is under Spring Lake, It was a little settlement. People who were building the dam lived in that area. When the lake filled up it covered the settlement. My brother who is 77 now remembers it well. My father James Cleason Harkey Sr. was a foreman working on the dam. I have photos of the construction. I am also sending this to the Yell Co. List in case someone can help us with the Stafford surname.
