    3. Hi, I am not sure this will help but I have Daniel Cicero Harkey listed as a son of James Harkey and Eliza Tucker. This James Harkey, father of Daniel Cicero, was born in 1805, died in 1875. Daniel Cicero had a brother named James Harkey. I do not have the middle names of either of James, the father, or James the son, brother of Daniel. All I have on James Harkey, brother of Daniel Cicero, is born 1849, died March 9, 1862 and I do not have his wife's name. These Harkeys were located in Pope County, AR.     3. Sterbfritz is northeast of Frankfurt about 50 kilometers. No I can't convert km to miles. There is a main road that goes that way. It is to the east of that road. Seems like someone has been there but I am relying on memory - not fact from my notes: LDS records by Richard Turk Port Lavaca Tx. state that Martin Herche / Harkey was born in Sterbfritz Hessen-Nassau Preussen Germany in 1744 and that his father was Johannes Herche b. July 12, 1708 and that his father was Conrad Herche, no wife listed and that Conrad's parents were Melchior Herche and Margaretha Weigand b 1635 in Sterbfritz Hessen-Nassau Preussen Germany.

    3. Oh guys , you are all wanting to see what Nina sent and I have found the problem. It is too big. I think it was 18K. and the list was set for a limit of 10 K. I changed that and sent Nina's file again . I am not sure I should leave the list able to receive 20 K of information at once. ? That is a big email. I suggest if you are going to send something big to make sure it isn't over 20 K for awhile or maybe break it in half and send two messages. Can anyone on the list post the HARKEY entries from the 1860 and 1870 Pope Co. AR census? I have the Yell Co. entries for those years from the research I did on Wilson M. HARKEY (I think I posted them), but I didn't copy the Pope Co. entries. If no one speaks up, I'll get to the National Archives branch and copy them as soon as I can. Alma

    3. Thank of you for your attention. However, I am embarassed to say that at this juncture I have precious little else to offer. I would have thrown my students out the door if they came to me so ill prepared. As the Native people say "A duck may find himself flat-footed stuck to the ice all winter if he pays no attention to the direction of yesterdays flight". I think I am stuck to the ice for now.
