Hello Cheryl, I do not have a date etched in stone. The only thing I know is that my Stephen Harding moved from Providence, RI in th eearly part of the eighteenth century. I also know he had three sons: 1) Israel Harding - Revolutionary records of NC show he enlisted April 15, 1781. Due to some battles he was in, it is beleive he enlisted before this date. Married Annis Clark 2)Benjamin Harding - No dates known. Married Sarah Worsley 3)Stephen Harding - No dates known. My exact dates begin with a child of Israel Harding who was Nathaniel Harding, born September 20, 1790 in Chocowinity, NC and died November 14, 1864 in Chocowinity, NC. Just wish I had more to go on.
