    1. [HARDING] Hardings, MA, ME, IL?
    2. Carolyn Henderson
    3. Hello, My Harding's originate, in ME, I believe, then MA. My GGGrandmother Elizabeth Harding, married a Charles Wilkins in Vt. She lived in Lowell MA. Her first child Charles JR was born in MA. For some reason they moved to Streeter IL. >From there Charles SR, went into the Civil War. My Ggrandmother, (lived to be 94 years old) told me when I was a girl, her father put her on his shoulders to watch Lincoln walk by. That was when they were in IL. I always heard of Uncle Ed. And Uncle Ern. I don't know if they were my mother's uncles or Great Uncles. She said Uncle ED worked for the railroad in IL. Now I am grasping at straws but someone said Harding's were involved in the railroad. Elizabeth Harding Wilkins, moved west with her husband and spent most of her life in Oakland, CA. I found her in the 1900 census. She was 72 years old. I have a photo of she and Charles, no date, they are very old. My mother said all that family lived well into their 90's. I can't find a death date. . My family bible lists: Eunice Morton Harding, Amanda Dull Harding, and S. Warner Harding. Charles Wilkin's JR's middle name is also Warner. It is possible we are related to the sir name Warner. Also there is an old envelope, no letter, in the Bible. It is addressed to Angeline Harding, Skowhegan ME. Most of this is still a mystery. Anyone heard of any of these people? Carolyn
