    3. Hello Patrick, Your message caught my eye. Do I assume that the (Igo) is a maiden name? Here's why I find that interesting --- In the book The Surnames of Ireland" by MacLysaght, under the listing for Hanl(e)y, it reads " An important Connacht sept. A branch migrated to co. Cork , etc. See Jago."..and under "Jago" it reads "Basically the same as Jacob .i.e. of Cornish origin....In County Roscommon they are a branch of the O'Hanley's and it is called Igoe."
