Hello Mike and listers, I am still trying to confirm if this tomb is in the Kilgefin Parish cemetery. The headstone inscription is given in the publication "The Irish Genealogy Handbook". If anyone has a copy of this book to hand, would you please check the page for me, to see if a location is provided. If anyone is able to assist I would be very grateful. This is the headstone inscription for the HANLY tomb. 'Erected to the memory of the ancient family of Kilmacor by Patrick Hanly. Last week I sent out the under noted message to your individual email addresses. However, at or about the same time I was having problems with my server etc and wasn't sure if any of these messages made it to their destinations. Adding further doubt was that no messages were received by me either confirming knowledge etc. about this line of the Dufficy family. In light of the above, I thought I would re-send the message. The gist of the previous message was that I have previously identified a number of ancestors that are from Co. Roscommon, Ireland. My g.g.g. grandparents, Terence Connor his wife Mary Stewart and their children Thomas and Mary Connor in particular. In Oct, 1847 they were emigrated to the U.S. and eventually made their way to Murray County, Minnesota in the 1860's. Thomas eventually married Mary Willard/Cochlin. After her death, Thomas married Cecilia Dufficy (B:Dec 1,1850) in Wisconsin, USA. Cecilia died on Sep 28,1935 in Pendleton, Oregon. They had two children that I know of, John Connor (B: Jun 6, 1998) and Nora Connor (B: May 26,1887) both in Murray County. John Connor married a woman by the first name of Julia and they ahd two children, Cordelia Connor and Wayne Connor. Nora married a fellow by the name of Swartz. They had one child that I know of, George Swartz. Nora is also buried in the Pendleton area of Oregon State. Cecilia's parents were Martin Dufficy and Nora Flannigan both from Co. Roscommon, Ireland. If there is any connection could you please contact me direct at your convenience. Thanks in advance Mike Connor Abbotsford, British Columbia Canada
