>From the Holton Recorder, Monday December 6, 1999 Clifford "Tip" M. Handley, 90, Silver Lanke, died Dec. 4, 1999 at a Topeka hospital He was born Sept. 11, 1909 in Hinton, Okla., the son of Henry Clayton and Jennette McKee Handley. He attended Topeka schools. He had worked at the Mutual Ice and Col Storage and later for the Kansas State Hospital. He also worked as a farmer. He was a member of the Westside Christian Church He married Gladys Deeringer, Sept. 12, 1932 in Holton. She died June 10, 1997. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Cornell in September 1988. Survivors include two sons, Joe Handley, Topeka, and Charles Handley, Scranton; one daughter Cyrella Birtell, Overbrook; 13 grandchildre; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice and sent in care of the Davidson Funderal Home in Topeka. I thought this might interest somone. He was a very nice man. Gayle
