Nancy was right, during the day, I reply from my e-mail address at work, causing it not to recognize me. I will be looking at my file this labor day weekend and get back with you and everyone. Dr. Harry Handley of Lewisburg, W VA, who kept a ton of files on Handley history, was working on the ancestors of William Handley, who came from New Castle County, PA/DE to Virginia. He had some real good theories and leads, but was unable to prove them. A lot of what is written on those ancestors in "post-1 (test)," were among the theories he had. The challenge now, is to find evidence that will prove them. Dr. Handley's sister, Birdie Handley Musser and I use to stay in touch when she was living, through visits to see her, letters and phone calls. She wanted so much to see her brother's theories proven, as he worked many, many years on the Handley ancestry and wanted so much to carry the line back overseas, but did not get that far. Hopefully, this will happen.
