People need to realize you cna often follow on line and it doesn't add up. theroy can help or it can hinderyour research. I think Mr. Handley was right and was the reason he never published his papers. He wanted prof. So the people on the list shoud do just that get to work and prove or disprove stories. I know for my self , nowhere does it show my grandmother as a Handley in documentation. Was her mother Elizabeth Hale handley or was she Hattie Ann Bernice Handley child from a railroad man named Covey. All Ihave is the word of her step sisters and an uncle. I am always looking for someone who knows the story. it seems Handleys were closed mouth about family happings like was my grandmother born our of wedlock because Hattie would have bee about 14 when she was born and Hatties mother ran a boarding house for the railroad men buiding the bridge over the missouri. I must find some iype of proff but I keep finding her using the Handley name. but that is a longer story. Ann
