I have found this account of a Moses Handley in 1700's in Virginia. The furthest my line goes back for now is Moses Handley b. 1788 place unknown d. 1871 in Harrison County, OH. He married Nancy Bell in 1808 in Jefferson County, Ohio. They lived in Greene Township, Harrison County, Ohio. Nancy (Bell) Handley b. 1787 and d. 1850 in Harrison County, Ohio. Moses remarried in 1861 to Sarah Ann Mason b. 1817 d. 1900 Hopedale, Harrison County, Ohio. All three are buried in the Greenwood Graveyard of Green Township, Harrison County, Ohio. I have to public records that give the father of Moses Handley but speculation is that his father was William Handley of Harrison County, Ohio. I can't not connect this Moses Handley of Virginia to mine but he might be related to William and John from the 1700's.
