My this sure sounds exclusive, please do not enroll me where persons browsing for HANDLEY would wind-up at a site, only to be told that it was "members only". Even if "joining" is possible, it is usually neccessary to leave name, address, telephone number and email address. Always a possibility to start MORE UNWANTED solicitations at my inbox. Thanks for reading an opposing view. Jim Adams Montanan2@att.net
Nancy, Yes, I would be very interested in joining this site. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Sftrail@aol.com [mailto:Sftrail@aol.com] Sent: Sunday, June 04, 2000 2:15 PM To: HANDLEY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [HANDLEY-L] Want to join the MyFamily HANDLEY site? I've just set up a site for anyone who wants to share (or get) information about the Handley, Hanley, Handly, etc. family. The site let me invite 10 people at first, so I picked some email addresses off the subscribers of this list. Most of you didn't get a personal invitation, so if you want to at least look around the new site, please let me know. MyFamily sends you a personal code to join, and only people who are invited can find the site. We can upload pictures and files, and can also set up family tree info, without having your own GED COM program. It's all free. The family tree info can be made public, but I'm not sure if the pictures and file data becomes public beyond our own group or not. Anything you post can be read and downloaded by other members of our MyFamily group, at any rate. Let me know if you want to check it out. Thanks. Nancy Sween http://members.aol.com/Sftrail/handley/
