Hi I am new to this list so here goes I have a copy of a list which says my ancestors, James and Elizabeth SIMMONS left Australia on the "Jenny Ford" on 28 May 1856 with their children, Eliza Elizabeth, Emma Ellen, Henry, James Albert, Mary Ann, Sarah Ann, Sophia Jane and Thomas. I am interested in finding out when James and some of his children came back to Australia and we know it was between 1856 when they arrived and 1860 as he is not listed in the 1860 US Census. He died in Australia in 1865. Can anyone help me regarding shipping lists for LDS passengers leaving California bound for Australia during this time frame.
