Film # 1033790 LDS Individual Histories Utah I find item 3 page 99 Hannah (Webb) Toone Residence: Croydon Utah Emigrated from England. Crossed plains on Ox Team in Dixie Train left father and mother in England Endured hardships of pioneer life in setteling Croydon. A constant worker in Relief Society and now presider over the same in the Croydon Ward. Rebaptised by Solomon Edwards 26 9 1875 confirmed by George Knight 26 9 1875 I have a couple questions - Where might I find information about the Dixie Company and I wonder about the rebaptised notation. This same document stated she had been baptised by Mark Lindsley 1863 and confirmed by Bro. Mawley 1853 . This would have been in England before she emigrated at the age of 19 on the Amazon ship which departed from London 4 June 1863 and arrived New Orleans 18 July 1863. Was rebaptism a common practice? Also it states that she had a Patriarchal Blessing by John Smith - no date given. How would I obtain a copy of this?
