I am trying to find info on my gggggg grandfather. His name was Edward Edwards and he married Elizabeth Thomas on October 21, 1820 banns. I am looking for information regarding two things. I know from has marriage certificate there was a William Edwards and a Mary Richards who were the witnesses. Any clue as to how to find out who his parents were? Second, I know they Edward Edwards and Elizabeth Thomas and their children joined the LDS church in the fall of 1848. Then they traveled to America between 1848 and 1850. Can anyone lend a hand in finding out what ship they may have crossed the sea on? Thank you all! John Edwards
