I am seeking information on a James McGuffie who immigrated to the U.S.A. aboard the ship ERIN'S QUEEN. He left Liverpool, England on September 5, 1848 and arrived in New Orleans on October 28, 1849. He was traveling with his wife Margaret Dennett McGuffie and 4 children. The ERIN QUEEN had 232 Mormons on board under the direction of Simeon Carter.
