Thanks Terri, Wayne, Melanie & all!! I loved your story, Terri. I think the stories surrounding the end of polygamy are facsinating. My grandma used to tell of hiding under the stairs at the "aunts"(her father's other wives) on State Street in SLC when the soldiers came. I think this must have been around 1890. My g-grandma was the first wife and I don't know why she chose to divorce, but afterwards she ran boarding houses in Brigham City and Brighton, among other places, while raising the younger girls--my grandma among them. She was always described as sad after the divorce. My grandma was close to her father all her life. Enough of my story, but I might tell you that my great grandfather was Richard Greaves Lambert and great grandmother, Mary Ann Jenkins, in case that rings a bell with anyone. I found the Utah Historical site. Appleton's is out of the Family History Suite(you must have gotten the last one, Melanie), and Infobase didn't know who else might have one. I use Ancestral Quest v. 2.0, but I would love the other goodies. I asked Infobase if they were going to put that info onto another CD, but the salesperson didn't know. Ancestral Quest & the others all suggested I call around to LDS bookstores to try and find the Family History Suite. So I have a chore in front of me. Julie
