Joe, My Mother lives in St. George. One time while there visiting I went tothe St George Public Library. I have an ancestor who was called by Brigham to go there and build buildings, etc. I went to the librarian at the desk and told her that I was looking for info on early ancestors. They took me to a little room with a locked door, let me in and left me to go through their local history collection. I found a book with a picture of my ancestor, Willis Coplan and wife, that I had never seen before. I went through loads of books and then they let me bring out my treasures and zerox them myself. It was incredible. Also stopped by the cemetery there to ask about relatives on another line and got a couple of hair-raising, black sheep stories for my family collection on some distant cousins buried there. You just never know!! The Museum in the old Court House in Beaver is great, too.
