Hi, I decend from the Longmeadow, Mass Hancocks. I have a record that shows JOBEZ Hancock, born July 29, 1728, died September 19, 1819 in Waterville NY and was married to Rachel Wright. According to what I have, Jobez was a brother to my 5th gr grandfather, Daniel Hancock. Daniel and Jobez were 2 of many children of John and Annie Webb Hancock. John was the son of Thomas and Rachael Leonard. I do not find any other Jobez or Jabez Hancocks in my records. I was the last Hancock born in my line and there are no males left, to my knowledge.
