    3. Hi Folks, First of all, Julia, enough words cannot be said to thank you for all you have done for this list and for the Hancock families. This DNA stuff is fascinating and without your guidance we would still be back with a stone tablet and a stylus---or to be more modern, a Big Chief Tablet and a #2 pencil! :c) I have had so much fun the past 24 hours trying to figure out who Warner's "kin-folk" are that I didn't know already. I think we may actually "stagger onto" this particular line of ancestors with just a bit more digging. Where is Chart #26? Could we know who has this Chart 26 in their line? I'll be glad to talk to anyone who matches with Chart #3 on the DNA tests. I am really interested in seeing where the lines split into the various siblings, etc. Speaking of the DNA test, we apparently only sent in for 12 markers. I just sent in what I thought I was supposed to but apparently I did not read the DNA page thoroughly enough. My question is should we have the upgraded test done or is the 12 marker test sufficient for matching? Lord, I hate getting old when it means I can't read!<LOL> Again, to Julia, thank you so much! 3. Hi, Jean, and Interested Others, I wasn't sure who was connected with this last test. My line is the (Capt.) John Hancock line, which can be seen at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~grannyapple/HANCOCKgenealogy/HANCOC Khis.html This would probably be part of the CHART 26 for now. I don't think Julia has created a true chart yet, but has given us the number. She will need to answer to that. I know about 3 of the other connections who are somehow connected to our line. Here is what I have: Capt. John Hancock (mine) James C. Hancock-Child of assumed William Hancock & possibly Rebecca Vande(r)griff James C. Hancock- Same as above: Child of assumed William Hancock & possibly Rebecca Vande(r)griff Clark W. Hancock-Child of assumed William Hancock & possibly Rebecca Vande(r)griff (I know the name of the researcher involved with the above William's family, but for privacy sake I will not post. He will have to make himself known, if he wishes.) John Hancock b 1743 (don't know who the researcher is) Benjamin Hancock b 1710 (don't know who the researcher is) Henry C. Hancock b abt 1798 (don't know who the researcher is) I can remember that Jim Hancock submitted the DNA for another, but can't remember which of the above names that ancestor was. And, Jean then which is yours? Looks like we need to keep track. Yes...please have the full 25 series one to see if you how you match or if you have a mutation like the (Capt.) John Hancock line.
