I have done lots of research in Hancock and Jasper Counties, GA because my Bridgers, Bruces, Richards and others were there from the Granville, Franklin, Edgecombe area of NC. They were connected to the Barnes and Chapman families. I would love to see a descendant of John Hancock and Susanah Bridges DNA tested against these GA Hancocks. I have a hunch they would match.
