    2. I hope in your message about Arvil Hancock that (dec'd) doesn't mean deceased. Arvil is very much alive and, still, living in CA. He has only become inactive in genealogy research as his line is completely and thoroughly documented. That, just, shows that we must all pipe up once in a while or folks will think we are dead. <g> All that Arvil wrote below is correct. But the William who married Elizabeth Spencer is not the same William who appeared in Bath and Craven Co., NC.
