Hope someone on the list can shed some light in my direction: My wife's line is James R. Hancock b. abt. 1797 SC His sons where: Hardy Harry (H.H) b.abt. 1818 SC James R. b. November, 1824 SC Henry S. (H.S) b. abt. 1826 SC Francis (Frank) Marion b. abt. 1831 SC By the 1840's they have relocated to the Jefferson County Alabama area. In checking through the 1850 Census for Alabama I find there is a Hancock Family in Tallapoosa, Alabama. Hardy Hancock also b. SC abt. 1797 Margaret is listed as his wife, but no children are listed. Is there anyone who can tie these to Hancock's to each other or who has information on the Parent/s for either of them. Any help would be welcome. Regards Bob
