Hello, At the present, I am suspecting that the William Hancock below is the William Hancock b 1797, the s/o Joseph Hancock (b 1759) of Hanover Co., VA & Nancy Ann Dickenson. Joseph (b 1759) was bro/o Austin Hancock, Sr. of Louisa Co., VA & Ann Nuckolls and believed bro/o (Capt.) John Hancock (Y-DNA ancestor) of Louisa Co., VA, KY, & OH and their believed brother, William Hancock (b abt. 1755) of Orange Co., VA. The brothers are believed to be sons of Benjamin Hancock & Mary Beadles. No other Y-DNA testees for this particular HANCOCK family line is known at the present. We are matching with other unknown DNA family, but connections are unknown at this time.
