As some of you may know, I had a virus attach itself to my emails. If any of you got this virus, sorry. Here is how to fix the problem: Go to www.McAfee.com and look for the instructions on getting rid of the BadTrans virus/worm. First, you make a backup copy of your Registry and save it to the Desktop (just incase something goes wrong, you can restore the registry -- if everything goes right, you will simply delete the backup copy later) Then, it will tell you how to go into the Registry and delete a file called Kernel32 Then, you go into WIN.INI and delete a line that says RUN= c:\windows\inetd.exe Then you delete file named KERN32.EXE, HKSDLL.DLL, CP_23421.NLS. I could not delete them the way McAfee said to do it, because the programs were being used by Windows and it wouldn't allow deletion. So, I had to go into MS-DOS mode, and go to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory and delete them with the DEL command.
