Has anyone come across a Joseph Hancock born in England on November 1, 1833? I don't know where in England he was born. He came to the US (Illinois) sometime before 1856 when he was married the first time in McHenry Co., IL. His first son was named Charles E. Hancock and a 2nd son named George who died young was by his first wife. The second wife produced a son, William Frances Hancock, my grandfather, before dying in childbirth. The third wife produced another George A. Hancock who lived. I would like to find who Joseph's parents and siblings were. Hope I hear some good news. Marilyn
