Hello-- Received copy of my great-grandfather's Social Security application form today. Says his employer in 1937 was W.P.A. project 4238. Research shows W.P.A. stands for Work Projects Administration/Works Progress Administration. I am curious about the project he was working on in La Harpe, Kansas.
