My line is the William James Hancocks (married Eliza Jane Saunders) with a bunch of other William Hancocks of Great Britain, NC, SC, Ala, GA, Mi, Mo (I think), and TX as far as I know:) I believe, if I am following genealogy at all, that my line died with Martha Jane Hancock (married Sterling Fisher, San Marcos, Hays County , TX). Martha Jane Hancock was a DAR member. So were her daughters. The proof they used to be members of DAR is recorded somewhere I am sure. How does one go about locating DAR lineage records?
