>From The Hamilton Hearald, Hamilton NE. Aug 19, 1886 Communicated: On Friday August 6, 1886 Nathanial S. Hancock,aged about 54 years. The deceased was born in Licking county, Ohio, in 1832, and moved west and followed the settlements up to this county this state, very much impaired in health, from which his decease was the end. He leaves a large family consisting of wife and grown up children to mourn his death, as well as the entire community, who express deep sympathy. He lived an earnest member of the Christian church and died happy in his faith, calling his weeping family around him directed his own burial and that is should be simple and plain, his grave to be on his own claim and to be interred without waiting the coming of any absent relatives. And in peace he sank to that eternal sleep. O, death where is thy sting? O, grave where is thy victory?
