    1. Re: [HANCOCK-L] Attn: Julia re: DNA test results
    2. Yes, Audrey, did you get the email that I, just sent to you? You have a match with 25 markers. There is one mutation, but is considered a match. Mutations occur on an average of one in twenty births, but they can occur at any time, or not at all. We consider from one to three mutations a match within the same surname. I have a website waiting for the results, but must have your first four generations with dates and places to identify your line. The person with whom you matched, also, failed to provide me with his first four generations, so I can't post his either, until I recieve the data. You can always view your markers as well as other data on the website that is provided to you by the company, FamilyTreeDNA.com using the code that they sent to you in th email about your match. Keep that code, as you will need it everytime your log in to their site. Our Hancock DNA page is: http://www.small-stuff.com/HANCOCK/DNA/ You will click on "Test Results" but I don't have them up yet. I will let everyone know when I have them ready. Oh, BTW, we received four results, but only two were matches.
