I do know that John L was in the had a wife named Maria and was in the 1850 census in Warren Ct, Ms. He had Charity, Mary Caroline and James at the time.He was born in 1817 Tn according to this census. His bothers Tarleton and Leonard are also listed here. I can not discount that there can be a connection because, Tarleton was born in Kentucky. The one we are trying to find has Isaac, Tarleton, John L, William, Joel W, George, Leonard, and we know there are a few more brothers and possibly a sister or two. John L Sr was born in Va and married to a Tabitha Beilen. I guess John was deceased by 1850 because Tabitha was living with Leonard. The family came from Va to Tenn, Kentucky, and then into Mississippi. I will keep your information because the names are some of the same in the family I am searching. My grandfather was Robert Scott Hancock, and he had a brother named Thomas I. We beleive that one of these brothers could be there father. We do not we are connected to this family.
